Trade support loan

Trade support loans are loans available to eligible trade Australian apprentices.

Trade support loans are paid in instalments, totalling up to $21,078, over the life of an Australian apprenticeship.

These loans are intended to assist you with everyday costs while you complete your apprenticeship.

You are able to apply, or opt-in, for instalments according to your needs.

Repayment of these loans, similar to the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP), are payable when your income reaches the repayment threshold of $45,880 (2019-20).
