What does a floor finisher do?
A floor finisher installs and repairs floor coverings using a range of materials including carpet, timber, bamboo and plastic.
A floor finisher will undertake a range of tasks including but not limited to:
- Consult plans and determine a project materials requirements and place orders
- Prepare surfaces and apply underlay materials
- Lay coverings such as carpet, linoleum, parquetry blocks and cork tiles
- Secure floor coverings and edge trims
- Sand, stain and apply finishing coatings to timber floors
